  • Ozone treatment (ozonation) – The ozone gas (O3) is injected in to the flow of waste water. This process kills microorganisms in the waste water as well as helps deodorize it.
     
  • Chemical treatment – The precise amount of chemicals are injected in the flow of waste water to remove contaminants. The process is commonly known as coagulation and flocculation.

Besides these techniques, many other techniques like bioreactor membrane, reverse osmosis, ion exchange etc. are used to treat industrial waste water. These modern techniques are effective and efficient to provide clean and safe water.
